More work on my yawning coyote! Tonight I will paint the tounge and do the paint detail on the lips and teeth.

That looks so cool :)
I have never seen a yawning yote mount before. I can't wait to see it done.

One thing though- it's minor and not even something I'm totally sure of- but I've noticed that when whiskered critters yawn, their whiskers tend to turn to the front!

I searched high and low and could not find an example of a yawning coyote taxidermy!

Good point on the whiskers I'll get them wet and pull them forward as a last step.

Thanks! Before this becomes a full body mount it is going to be part of a 'taxidermy throne' that will be part of a music video that is being shot this weekend. Never head of the band myself so don't ask who they are. Will post pics of the video shoot though!!
