The Caves of Gemina WIP VI

I can't tell you how many times and how many different ways I worked on that damn patterned jacket. 

I wish I could figure out how to bring my painting tech to the 'next level' of detail.  My general style has kind of stagnated and I am trying to find new ways of doing true realism or even something that has more defined brush strokes that don't look odd..but I'm far from anywhere near that.  My work is too smooth, need to find a new brush perhaps.
