It's a pin made from Japanese Beetle, watch parts, and sculpty! This was a lot of fun to do. So I did another that is a little sillier:
So I went on Ebay and discovered that the antique scarab beetle pin (purchased for 5$) that I cut the pin off of go for hundreds of dollars... oops. I seem to have mutliated a pricy antique in the name of 'art'.
Holey insanity! I didn't think this little bug would get so popular so fast! to all who have faved and/or commented.
I've got more wings and parts (no more head, I'll have to think of something else) so I think I'll make some more and try and perfect him.
This one sold for 150$ (since it had an antique in it). I have one more scarab head I can make into a pin for 100$ (these are rare bugs) or I can make one with just the wings and a molded head for 35$.
