Here is the first otter mounted to the driftwood. I still haven't painted the mouth detail. It's all freestanding on top of a hexagon red oak stand.

It's a color mutation caused by a recessive gene simmilar to albino except they also have patches of normal color.

Yes! The brown otter will attach at the top to the white one with a fish in his mouth heading towards the surface!
