Update: After a few more hours of animation I added more of a ember animation to the flame, made the IV drip faster, and fixed the problem that the IV didn't drip all the way off the page.
I'm back at it again! Animating some of my older works into 'living pictures'. I am doing this with layers and 'bones', a combination of Adobe Photoshop, and Anime Studio 6. Sooooo much fun.
Drawing took 25+ hours, animation took 4+ hours. I learned a new trick with this one, the smooth liquid drip (I might just add sweat and blood to my Spock animation after all: [link] ).
Still work (has a little more detail): [link] First Rule of War short story: [link]
Grr...I meant to comment on this last night, I guess I just spaced off I left the tab open, though! This is really neat...I love the way you've got the flame just kind of teetering...and you can almost see a heat wave around it. VERY nice! It looks really smooth.
